20 Books of Summer (Winter) 2022

I'm hoping that this reading challenge hosted by Cathy @ 746 Books will provide a boost for my reading and reviewing year, which is not going too well to-date.

The challenge will run from June 1st to September 1st, the winter months here in Australia and the ideal time for me to catch-up, now that work has finally quietened down after the prolonged and hectic tourist season and the weather will, no doubt, keep me housebound.

Cathy claims to be the slackest of challenge hosts, suggesting that it is okay to aim for less than 20 books, perhaps 10 or 15? Well, I'm listing 20 as a starting point and fingers crossed that I will get through most of them. Cathy's relaxed challenge rules also mean that adjustments are acceptable which means other books may replace some of those listed.

My list is drawn from my NetGalley shelf (which includes some titles for upcoming book tours), physical review copies, books nominated for other reading challenges and some that I have wanted to read since their release but needed to wait until they were available from the library.

  2. Good luck with your list of 20 - I find I constantly move books in and out of my list of 20 as the winter wears on - I'm too much of a mood reader to really plan ahead 3 months :-D
