Hosted by: Gilion @ Rose City Reader
Challenge period: 1st January to 31st December, 2022, with until 31st January, 2023, to finish reviews and write a wrap-up post.
Aim: To read books set in European countries or books by European authors, any genre – fiction, nonfiction, novels, short stories, memoirs, travel guides, cookbooks, biography, poetry, etc. No two books from the same country.
Challenge Hashtag: #europeanreadingchallenge
Further information about the challenge, including what counts as 'Europe" and how to be in the running for a prize, can be found on the sign up page.
The books I read tend to be set in the same European countries (i.e. the U.K., Belgium and France) so I thought this challenge would be a great way to diversify a little.
There are five reading levels to choose from. I've opted for the FIVE STAR (DELUXE ENTOURAGE): Read at least five books by different European authors or books set in different European countries.
As I read and review my selections, I'll list them here.
01. The Crimson Thread by Kate Forsyth (Greece)
02. The Secret Keeper by Siobhan Curham (Spain)
03. The Brightest Star by Emma Harcourt (Italy)
04. The Wolf and the Watchman by Niklas Natt och Dag (Sweden)
05.
