SIX IN SIX is Back for 2018!

Here we are in July (only just), which means there's still time to participate in this fun meme hosted by Jo @ The Book Jotter.

SIX IN SIX is a meme where the aim is to share in July six books in six categories from the books we have read etc. in the first six months of the year, either using Jo's categories or your own.

I started composing this post at the start of July, but due to a lot of procrastination have left it until now to finalise.

A couple of Jo's categories have been tweaked to suit the books that I've read and I only used two categories from last year (i.e. Six Book Covers I Love and Six Series Read, Started or Continued).

Six Book Covers I Love

1 - I love this cover due to its elegance and simplicity. The image doesn't do it justice as the gold lettering and other gold highlights are diminished. In the physical form it's beautiful.
2 - The colour on this cover is just stunning
3 - Gold and black on white always catches my eye.
4&5 - As does gold/yellow on black. Always an elegant combination.
6 - This is a very classy cover and reflects what the story is about.

Well, that's my SIX IN SIX for this year. I enjoyed doing this meme so I hope it will be back in 2019!

  1. This is one of my favourite memes - I think it's a great way to look back over the first half of the year. I love the six book covers you've chosen, although my copy of The Silent Companions is gold on a black background rather than white.

    1. It is a good way to look back over the past six months of reading. I'm pleased I'd read enough books to fill the categories.

I like your cover of The Silent Companions better than mine, but they are both eye catching.
