  2. You've got some really good sounding books there--not to mention gorgeous covers. I'm really curious about Birdcage Walk and Stars Across the Ocean in particular. I hope you enjoy all of these! Have a great week!

    1. Yes, some of the covers are lovely. I've not read anything by Kimberley Freeman so I'm looking forward to Stars Across the Ocean.

  4. That looks a great selection of books. I read Widdershins recently and enjoyed it, and Soot is a wonderful historical mystery! I also have a copy of Indiscretion on my shelf which I haven't read yet and am looking forward to.

    1. I added Widdershins and Soot to my TBR because of your excellent reviews :-)I've just finished Indiscretion. It was good. Now I want to read some of Jude Morgan's other novels.

  6. What a great-looking book haul!
I haven't read any of these yet but have read earlier books by some of the authors, like Kimberley Freeman, Kate Riordan, and Santa Montefiore. Jude Morgan is also excellent and I wish he was still writing.

    1. I didn't realise Jude Morgan is no longer writing. At least I have a few more of his books left to read.

    2. Same here. I hope Jude Morgan will have another book out at some point, since he used to have a new one every year, but it's been a while, about five years since the last one.

    3. Five years is a long time between books. I've just discovered that Jude Morgan also wrote a series of Georgian mysteries under the pseudonym of Hannah March. So, fingers crossed, that by the time I finish all these as well, he will have another book out.
