I am happy to receive books to review from authors, publicists or publishers.

My preferred format is print, but I will accept ebooks (mobi file preferred) as I know how prohibitive international postage to Australia, where I live, can be. I do not review audio books.

The opinions expressed in my reviews are my own and from the viewpoint of a reader who reads for pleasure only. I am not a professional review writer and my reviews reflect this. I try to be as honest as I can without being disrespectful, especially when I review books I didn't like, though these, I'm happy to say, are in the minority.

I can't give a guarantee as to how long it will take me to read and review your book. As this blog (and book reviewing) is my hobby and life has a habit of getting in the way, I don't work to a strict timetable, but can work to a deadline if needed.

In addition to this blog, my reviews are posted on Goodreads, Amazon (US and Australia), Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. I am happy to post on other sites if requested.

A quick look at my blog will give you an idea of the kind of reviews I write and the types of books I read. My preferred historical periods are those spanning the times of William the Conqueror  (1066) to World War II; occasionally, I'm persuaded to stray out of my timeline and genre.

Happy Reading!
